Just Add a Zero
What would adding a zero to your weekly, monthly, and yearly income do to your lifestyle? Would it allow you to have more ease, peace, and contribution? How would it change the energy you felt in your day to day activities knowing that you have the ability to generate this income?
Money is just a form of energy and it is just a tool. Having it does not guarantee happiness, and not having it does not guarantee unhappiness. However our belief about what money means to us can either generate a feeling of happiness or unhappiness. As we know, our mood is an inside job. No one can make us happy or unhappy, but rather we choose to feel those feelings based on external circumstances or people. Allowing prosperity into your life and increasing what you believe you deserve to receive for your efforts are key factors in embracing your inner power and self worth.
Money doesn’t define who we are, but money can help assist us in continuing to better our lives and the lives of others. Uncovering your money blue print, or the number that you feel comfortable allowing yourself to make, can be a very eye opening, yet difficult experience for some. I know for myself, it has been a consistent journey since I was 20 years old, to re -define how I looked at money and my internal dialogue with it.
Allowing yourself to release any fears attached to money can give you a better sense of self worth, and the ability to get paid what you are actually worth. Take a minute to close your eyes and picture the number of your annual income above your head. How does that number make you feel? Now, add a zero, and see what emotions and thoughts come up for you.
Did you start to talk negatively to yourself when you saw that number increase? For example did you say, “Yeah right you’ll never be able to make that much money!” or did you feel a sense of panic like
“How would I be able to manage that much money?” or, “That would be nice, but it is impossible.”
Notice what words or emotions came up in regards to that number, and if they were positive or negative. Now, ask yourself why you feel this way? Where did you learn this current dialogue with money? Most likely it was from your parents or grandparents. If it was, ask yourself this question. Were my parents or parental figures in a positive financial position when they taught me this? Where are they now? Do they have the type of financial lifestyle I desire? Were your caretakers independently wealthy and able to live life on their own terms? Or where they stuck working a job that they hated for years only to retire into poverty? Ultimately ask yourself if you want to follow their lead or pave a way for a new path in your life.
No matter where you are right now it is ok. It does not mean you need to stay there. Accepting where you are, and not being in denial about it, is one of the most important steps in increasing your income. Another key factor is committing to change your belief about what you are worth, and what adding a zero could do for your life. You must first recognize and accept where you are. Be grateful for the income you currently have, and be open to allowing yourself to receive more of what your heart desires.
Prosperity and abundance are states of mind. Ones that we can choose to function in whenever we want. It is up to us to monitor and control our thoughts daily about our dialogue with money and to set ourselves up for success rather than failure.
Aligning yourself with a vehicle such as network marketing, or becoming an entrepreneur, is a powerful way to make this happen for yourself. If you currently work at a job for someone else, most likely there is a cap on your income level, and adding that zero to your income would not be very easy to do, or, could be impossible in that position altogether. Opening yourself up to the idea of FREE ENTERPRISE and designing a life that you enjoy will start to open doors for you of endless possibilities to create the income you truly desire. The truth is we are we all born to be prosperous, healthy, and happy. We are blessed that we live in a time and a society that allows us to create and define our life on our terms. But the power of this choice lands directly in our control. We need to change our dialogue with money, our dialogue with ourselves, and be willing and open to get into massive action to make our dreams a reality.
Know that I believe in you, and the dreams you have in your heart right now are important. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. You deserve to attract the right opportunity to add that zero into your life.
